MANAGING DIRECTOR

Ian Brooksbank

Ian has worked in the energy industry for over 20 years. 


Prior to launching a career in consulting, Ian was the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of an Australian owned electricity retailer focusing exclusively on small to medium sized business customers in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.


Ian has also worked at one of Australia’s leading integrated energy businesses for over 13 years. During this time, he was involved in both the financial and operational sides of the business at an executive level, including the safe and sustainable operation of two coal fired power stations with 550 plus employees. 


Ian has strong ASX and private equity experience; with exposure to IPOs and mergers and acquisitions.


Ian's extensive energy industry experience includes: distribution, retail, wholesale and generation in government, ASX and Private Equity organisations. Ian has also worked in manufacturing, distribution; transportation and logistics.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

  • Grad Dip Business Administration (Executive) - Melbourne Business School.

  • Grad Dip in Company Secretarial Practice.

  • Master of Accountancy - University of New England.

  • Bachelor of Business - Mitchell College of Advanced Education.

  • Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

  • Member Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

  • Foundation Member Fellow of the CEO Institute.
